Blackbridge is pleased to announce that Championship club Barnsley are entering “an exciting chapter” after being taken over by HK, US and Indian consortium
Within the consortium is Chien Lee, Billy Beane, Paul Conway, Dickson Kong Lee, Grace Huang and Neerav Parekh. The Cryne family will remain a 20% shareholder of the club.
Blackbridge was a Sell Side Adviser to Patrick Cryne and introduced the new ownership group.
Speaking about the deal, Blackbridge Chairman Alexander Jarvis said:
“The new ownership group has some great plans to take the club to the next level and I am sure the Barnsley supporters will embrace this takeover and recognize that the club’s future has been secured.”
